Programme WS2021/2022

Dear Members !

We are back on the road again. We are hoping to be able to do the things which were cancelled in autumn 2020 and not have to close down again before these events have taken place. This, of course, includes Vienna’s English Theatre. I know this request is early but we always invite the actors for a meal after the play. If any of you wish to join us (at your own cost) please let me know as soon as possible because the table has to be booked early as the Christmas market will already be open. The “Birmingham” talk, including Warwick Castle, Stratford on Avon etc. will take place in October for everybody of course but especially those interested in joining the trip. On our website you will find photos of our wonderful, happy BBQ. On this occasion Mr. Buchroitner, our Hon Consul, finally received his 80^th birthday present. Two Wedgewood dishes. My husband Elmar also received an 80^th birthday present and thanks for all the work he does for the society. I know it’s been a hard time for all of us. Our bills still come in eg. Insurance, website etc. Therefore, may I ask you to please pay your membership fee

 ​Hazel will be continuing the BBC Films of “Great British Railway Journeys” Then you will see Lynne and Hazel alternating. This isn’t completely true because Heinz will be with us. He’ll be working in Home Office from Fulpmes and supplying us with texts and ideas for you.
